Why “Lemke-Ann”??

Although my father’s real name was “Edmund”, he was “Lemke” to everyone who knew and loved him.  “Ann” (born “Antoinetta”) was his loving wife of 30 years, and my Mom.  

Lemke loved the outdoors, but most of all, he loved to fish:  at a very early age, he instilled this gift in me.  And Ann was a serious fisherwoman in her own right:  she would go out fishing with us and catch fish that would put us both to shame!  Both Lemke and Ann loved Cape Cod and looked forward to their retirement days in their small cottage in Mashpee. 

Unfortunately, both of their lives were cut short by cancer:  they were never able to enjoy their retirement together on the Cape. 

My vessel and my business is dedicated in loving memory to my parents who shared with me the wonderful gift of fishing and made this all possible.
