The New Lemke-Ann
28 foot Carolina Classic 2007
Powered by Twin Yanmar 315 HP Diesels
Raymarine Electronics System with GPS, Radar & Sonar
Hardtop with Marlin Tower

BIG NEWS FOR THE 2007 SEASON!!

Upon reviewing the 2006 season, it turned out pretty well with two exceptions...too many trips lost to bad weather and a costly mechanical breakdown in late July.

I've decided the only way to avoid these problems in the future is a boat more suited to my needs.  Working with the folks from Cataumet Boats, we've come up with the ultimate platform for myself and my customers.

Launching in early June, the new Lemke-Ann will be a 28' Carolina Classic. 28'5" long with a 10'6" beam, the new boat will offer more room and comfort for my passengers.

Powered by Twin 315 HP Yanmar diesels, in straight inboard configuration, this rig will not only shorten our runs but allow us to fish in all but the worst weather.

"Fishing Features" will include a state of the art Raymarine electronics system, Tuna tower and outriggers.

Although my prices will increase to reflect the cost of running this rig, increased speed and capacity will keep my trips equal to, if not a better value than, what they have been.  With an open cockpit and inboard power, this boat will be ideal for my drift fishing, bottom fishing and chunking trips.  An added bonus is that this boat will also make a great trolling platform.

To start the season off I will be offering wire line trolling for Stripers and Blues, and possibly high speed trolling for Bonito.

The new Carolina Classic is an offshore capable boat.  As soon as I can I will be offering offshore Shark and Tuna trips.  Since these trips will be expensive, I'm not going to offer them until I'm confident of putting fish in the boat and that may not be until the 2008 season.
