The New Lemke-Ann
28 foot Carolina Classic 2007
Powered by Twin Yanmar 315 HP Diesels
Raymarine Electronics System with GPS, Radar & Sonar
Hardtop with Marlin Tower
The cabin is
equipped with kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities. The kitchen is equipped with a sink,
microwave and refrigerator. The separate “bathroom” has a standup head,
freshwater sink, and shower. There
is plenty of space forward to stow extra gear and keep it dry.
Even though
most of our fishing and cruising is done within a few miles of shore, the
Lemke-Ann goes well above the United States Coast Guard minimum requirements for
safety gear, including a high water bilge alarm and halon fire control system.
The Lemke-Ann
is stocked with a full complement of fishing gear featuring quality Penn reels
and rods to match each type of species of fishing targeted. Our tackle tends to be on the “light”
side for maximum sport and enjoyment. All
bait, hooks, lures and terminal gear are provided.
So pack a
lunch, drinks, and extra clothing which can be stowed dry in our spacious cabin
and enjoy a day fishing or cruising aboard the Lemke-Ann.
Lemke-Ann
Charters carries on-board a wide spectrum of rods and reels. Each outfit matches to the
type and size of fish targeted.
However, if you have a favorite outfit or lure, feel free to bring it
along! I will let you know if it is appropriate for the type of fishing we will
be doing.
ALL BAIT,
TACKLE, HOOKS, SINKERS and other gear ARE PROVIDED.
Special
note re: Fly fishing: I do not carry fly
casting gear on-board, because with her cuddy cabin and hard top, the Lemke-Ann
is not very well-suited to fly casting. If you would like to
bring a fly casting rod on-board and don’t mind dealing with limited casting
space, you are quite welcome to bring your own fly fishing equipment. For the true fly fishing
enthusiast, I will happily refer you to my good friend, Captain “Jolly”
Roger Swiderski, who specializes in local fly fishing trips

What
Should I bring?
Food and Drinks
Hat
Spare clothing, including wind breaker and/or rain gear
(depending on the weather forecast)
An empty cooler (large enough for whatever fish you intend to bring home. ) Ice is available for purchase at the Marina store
Please
note: The decks of my
boat are white. To
keep them that way, boat-colored shoes or sneakers with light soles are a plus.
What is Drug &
Alcohol Policy?
You may bring
moderate amounts of alcohol on-board for consumption by any member of your party
that is of legal drinking age (Massachusetts law - 21 years old.)
During the
trip, if, in my judgment as Captain, any person in the party becomes intoxicated
to the point where he/she is a danger to themselves or to others on-board, the
trip will be cut short and we will immediately return to port.
Zero
Tolerance: No illegal
substance of any kind will be tolerated. If I see any illegal
substance on-board, the trip will end and we will return to port.
Follow Shipyard Lane to end and find available parking.
Walk past shops and the Chart Room Restaurant to gangplank.
